What to Expect at Your First Meeting

A meeting runs about 75 minutes: a welcome, a short reading, a 15–20 minute guided meditation, a passage from the Recovery Dharma book, and open sharing (you can always pass). What is shared stays in the room. Afterward, people hang around to connect. Read the full walkthrough.

Is This a 12-Step Program?

No. Recovery Dharma is non-theistic and does not use the Twelve Steps, a higher power, or sponsors. It draws on meditation and the Four Noble Truths instead. See how it compares to AA, SMART Recovery, and Refuge Recovery.

All State Line meetings: see the full schedule. Questions before you come? Reach out. In crisis? The SAMHSA National Helpline is free, 24/7: 1-800-662-4357.
